The Women In Christ Women’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel Chester Springs exists to serve and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ, and to encourage women to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ by teaching them God’s Word and applying His Word to their lives. Our desire is to see women from all walks of life grow deeper in the Lord. The primary way that is accomplished is through the all-sufficient living God and His Word, and out of that, flows strengthened relationships with spouses, family and other women.

Our focus is to provide a variety of opportunities for women to be built up and encouraged in the Word of God and to fellowship with their sisters in the Lord. We host a variety of events throughout the year such as:
- Bible studies
- Annual Christmas Luncheon and Spring Retreat
- Monthly Women’s Ministry Prayer and Missions Prayer
- MOMS in Christ-Weekly Bible Teaching with Small Group Breakouts for moms with children 0-adult
- Evening fellowhip dinners

We offer day and evening Bible Studies for women throughout the week from September through June. This is an opportunity for us to dig deep into the Word using a formatted study of the Bible, Biblically-based book or verse by verse teaching by women in our body. Our desire is to help train women to develop a discipline to be in the Word everyday, and to be encouraged by each other as we weekly meet to share the divine insights the Lord has shone each one of us.

Registration for Bible Studies: Please register by printing the forms found on the website or at the WM Info counter outside the sanctuary. Please turn in completed form with payment to Women's Ministry. Moms in Christ offers age-appropriate Children's Ministry for newborns up through 6th grade. If children will be attending Bible Study with you, a separate Children's Ministry Registration Card needs to be filled out for each child. These cards are available at the WM info counter. TUESDAYS
Lord, I Want To Know YouAn inductive, 17 week study of hte character of God as revealed through His names, such as Creator, Healer, Protector, Provider and more. As you complete weekly homework assignments, you will learn that God has personally revealed His names to us through the Scriptures, so that you will discover His holy character, His sovereign will, and His purposes for yourself in a new and fresh way. As you call upon the name of God, you will find strength for trials, comfort for pain, and a new depth in your prayer life. Class time will be a discussion of homework followed by a teaching video by Kay Arthur. You will need your Bible, paper & pen.

Exodus, A Precept Upon Precept Bible Study
A Precept Upon Precept Inductive Bible Study taking you through the book of Exodus. One hour discussion on homework followed by a teaching video by Kay Arthur. You will need colored pencils, 3 ring binder, and Bible.

Entree of Encouragement - Hebrews (Transformed Worldwide Ministries)
Wednesday lunchtime study for women (hosted by CCCS) and Tuesdays in Valley Forge. The book of Job will be taught this semester, as so many women are in the midst of trials and suffering. May we gain an understanding of suffering and God's sovereignty as we study Job.Anyone is welcome to join at anytime. No homework during the week. Studies offered by Transformed Worldwide Ministries. The Tuesday VF study will continue in Hebrews from last semester.

MOMS in Christ: A Ministry to Moms with children of all ages
A ministry for moms with children of all ages and in all seasons or child training. We meet weekly to study God's Word and apply it to our lives as wives, mothers and women seeking after God and His instruction on training our children to love and fear the Lord and live lives that glorify Him. It is our heart's desire through MIC to equip women through God's Word and teaching His principles in being a wife and mother. Following a teaching time are small groups divided by seasons of parenting where a deeper discussion takes place on the application of God's Word in each of our lives. HEALING HEARTS MINISTRY
Binding Up The Broken Hearted
Abortion hurts. Tired of feeling hurt, guilt, shame, depression, anger, self hatred, and fear of others finding out? Then it's time to find hope, healing, and freedom from your abortion. This study covers 11 weeks and is an indepth journey of healing into the Word of God. One-to-one, groups and online study available. New group beginning in September. The Hem of His Garment
A 10 week Bible Study helping women overcome the hurts of the past, including abuse, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, shame, guilt or painful secrets that hey have kept for years. Its author uses her own personal testimony of suffering to help women understand that genuine hope and healing can only be found in Jesus. There is no hurt so great or wound so deep that the love of God can not touch. One on one, Group and online format are available.

A ministry for moms with children of all ages and in all seasons of child training where we can meet weekly to study God's Word and apply it to our lives as mothers, wives and women seeking after God. As we embrace the high calling of motherhood and train our children to live for Christ that we would be steadfast and immovable in our calling. It is our heart's desire through MIC to equip women through God's Word and teaching His principles in being a mother and wife. Through weekly meeting times, we would encourage each other, support one another, pray for one another and give opportunity to build Godly friendships together.
Also following after Titus 2 inviting women well seasoned as mothers to join us "that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed."
We meet each Thursday morning in the sanctuary beginning with worship and then teaching from God's Word by women in the body. We break for 45 minutes of small group application and prayer time. The small groups are divided into groups based on your current season of motherhood and the ages of your children. A nursing moms room is available with a live feed of the teaching. Each week, the teaching is recorded and a CD can be purchased at the Tape Ministry counter.
Children's Ministry:
Childcare is provided for children each week for infants through 6th grade. The children are divided into rooms according to age. Age appropriate Bible lessons, crafts, snack time and games/playtime are incorporated into the child's time each week. Child registration required.

Study: Verse by verse teaching on James and 1 Peter with weekly homework study book
Cost: $15 for Study material - 1 Peter begins January 28, 2010
Format:
45 minutes of teaching by women in the body, followed by 45 minutes of small group discussion/prayer with a group leader. This year we will be going verse by verse through James and 1 Peter. Study materials for the weekly homework is through Horizon Christian Fellowship and Costa Mesa CC Joyful Life Series. Materials will be handed out prior to our first meeting date.

We meet the first Monday of every month from 7-8:30PM in the Prayer room at CCCS. If you are involved with Women's Ministry or just have a heart to pray for the women in our body, church leadership, women's ministry: Bible Studies, Moms in Christ, Women's Retreat, women's events and the needs of women in our body....please join us each month as we come before the Lord seeking His guidance, intercede for others and worship His glorious name.

Monthly Corporate Women's Missions Prayer:

Women meet the 3rd Saturday of each month throughout the year from 8:00AM to 10:00AM in Room 8 at CCCS to pray for missionaries serving throughout the world and that God's Word would be spread and shared to all those who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

January workshop: Discover for yourself the character of God and how to deal with obstacles in your life through an inductive study of the Psalms. Women of all ages are invited to join us for a continental breakfast, prayer, worship, and Bible Study. You will hear testimonies of what God is doing through the book of Psalms.
The April workshop will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010. More information to follow. The April workshop will be devoted to what the Bible teaches about fasting through observation, interpretation and application tools.
One Day Seminar: "Loving and Being Loved: Women and Their Relationships"

Women’s Ministry Counseling
Lynn Jensen is available for biblical counsel for women. She specializes in helping Christian women apply the Word of God to life experience as the means of resolving life conflicts. Lynn is married to husband Mark and considers her marriage to be her greatest ministry along with the raising of their 4 children. Meals Ministry
Meals are provided by families with the body of Christ at CCCS for anyone experiencing an illness, hardship or recent birth or death of family member. Please contact Karen Milkiewicz at kmilkiew@cephalon.com if you have a need or know of someone who would be blessed with a meal.
Bible Bus
A group of women who meet monthly to discuss and share what God has revealed to their hearts as they have followed the reading through the Bible in a year schedule.
Healing Hearts Ministry
A ministry devoted to helping women who have personally experienced the trauma of abortion. Healing Hearts Ministries is a Christian Organization that believes there is a God in heaven who created you and He is the only one that can restore you. God in His infinite mercy, is waiting for you to come to Him so that He might carry the pain and burden of your abortion. God wants you to be set free and He longs to heal you and to give you hope through Him. 11 week Bible Studies are offered throughout the year by Cindy Bradlee, the local Healing Hearts representative. Transformed Worldwide Ministries
TWM is a teaching ministry and outreach to women. TWM expounds, exhorts and empowers through the Word of God so that others may know Christ and be transformed into His likeness. Expounding through the weekly Entree of Encouragment Verse by Verse Bible Studies that CCCS supports and offers Wednesdays from 12-1 at CCCS and Tuesdays in Valley Forge from 12-1. Exhorting through building relationships, especially through marriages. Empowering by being transformed by the Word of God. Paula Harris is founder and Director of TWM. Paula travels around the country to share the love and Truth of Christ Jesus. CCCS Women's Ministry is pleased to host an annual one day seminar in the Fall presented by TWM.
