Tend the Sheep

Tend the Sheep is a ministry whose mission is to follow Jesus’ example of ministering to the whole person – body and soul. We are a group of nurses and care giving volunteers who seek to serve God by ministering to the health needs of the congregation and pointing them to the one true Physician: Jesus Christ. We do not provide ‘hands on’ nursing care, but do serve as health educators, counselors, advocates, and prayer partners.

Strength for the Journey (Cancer Support Ministry)

Strength for the Journey (Cancer Support Ministry) is a ministry which reaches out to men and women who are newly diagnosed with cancer.

On an individual basis, the men and women of this ministry, who are cancer survivors, wish to offer hope and encouragement through prayer and the promises of God's Word; to give them the peace and assurance that they are not alone through this journey.

It is our desire to lend a compassionate ear, and to help prepare individuals for this trial with practical advice and suggestions.  In addition to providing individual care, we also meet as a group throughout the year for prayer, fellowship, and sharing. “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13
