Other Ministries for Women

Discipleship

Would you like to experience freedom in Christ? We believe that Jesus' victory over sin, Satan and death (Colossians 2:13-15) allows us to be 'more than conquerors' (Romans 8:37). Lynn Jensen is part of the CCCS staff to assist the pastors in ministering to the needs of women.  She will meet with women one on one for discipleship to help them apply the Word of God to experience victory in their lives.  By appointment only. Contact Lynn Jensen through the church office.

Healing Hearts Ministry

The Healing Hearts studies are are an in-depth journey of healing from loss, abuse, life hurts and a specific course on how to heal from the pain of an abortion. It's time to find hope, healing, and freedom in the Word of God. One-on-one, group and online formats available.  For more info, check out the Healing Hearts page.

Moms In Christ

Moms In Christ will meet the last Monday evening of the month for fellowship, desserts and a teaching from God’s Word that seeks to instruct, encourage and exhort moms of all ages and seasons.  This year, we will be studying different mothers of the Bible to draw out encouragement, warnings, and examine how the Lord worked in each of their lives. We will study the examples of Eve, Rebecca, Sarah, Hagar, Jochabed, Hannah, Leah, and Mary. A weekly devotion and study questions will be available to help you examine the Scripture and apply Biblical truths to your walk as a mother. All moms are welcome and there is no attendance requirement. While we do not offer childcare, nursing and young babies are welcome. Questions, contact the church office.

Naomi's Sisters

Naomi's Sisters is a ministry for widows in the church to find fellowship with other widows in the body and enjoy activities together. For more information about this ministry, please contact the Church Office.

Strength for the Journey: Cancer Ministry

This is a faith-based ministry, which reaches out to men and women who have been newly diagnosed with cancer.  On an individual basis, the men and women of this ministry, who are cancer survivors themselves, hope to offer support and encouragement through prayer, and the promises of the Lord's Word. “I can do everything through Him who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13.  “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up” James 5:15.  If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with cancer or if you are a cancer survivor and would like to minister to others going through cancer, please contact the church office.
