On Sunday, September 15, 2019, our church body will be partnering with Kids Around the World to pack 270,000 meals to fill an entire container with food for children in Eswatini, Africa (formerly Swaziland)!  Invite your family and friends to join us as we serve locally to impact globally!

In lieu of our morning services on September 15, we are having a “day of service” – your service will be the service!  Meals will be packed assembly-line style in the Sanctuary during 4 shifts. Check your children in immediately at the start of the shift/service as there will be a Special Children’s Program during Shifts 1-3 where the children will have an opportunity to pack meals. There is no childcare during Shift 4.

Join us as we roll up our sleeves and pack meals assembly-line style to help thousands of children receive a nutritious daily meal. We’ll scoop, pour, weigh, seal and load up boxes with protein and vitamin rich ingredients. The meals will then be shipped and delivered to Care Points in Swaziland where children in extreme poverty receive a warm daily meal and learn about the God who loves them.

Sign up for a shift or two and serve alongside your family and friends; invite your neighbors!

If you are interested in volunteering as a Table Leader/Support, Set-Up and/or Tear Down Crew, please contact Pastor Steven in the church office.

The OneMeal mission of Kids Around the World is to meet the needs of starving children by empowering people to serve. Our mobile food-packing program engages groups to work together in a meaningful hands-on, team-building experience.
We do this by partnering with organizations like churches, schools, businesses, and civic groups to host food packing events at their location or our warehouse. Their volunteers come together and pack meals assembly line style in a unifying and fun high-energy event.
The packaged food is then shipped and distributed to trusted partners to ensure the food reaches hungry children in great need of our help. Through our OneMeal program we have provided much needed nourishing food to children in 22 different countries, including the U.S. and developing countries across the globe.
